01
Is Aptoria legitimate?
Aptoria is a property-management software product with public documentation of its current scope, control boundaries, security practices, and founder operating context. It is early, so it does not present modeled outcomes or anonymous testimonials as measured proof. The public fact record links each material product claim to its source.
02
Is Aptoria safe for rent-related work?
Aptoria is designed around accountable autonomy: supported work has configured limits, review controls, action records, and a human-required floor for legally serious decisions. Safety also depends on the specific workflow, payment provider, account configuration, and the landlord’s own policies; no software removes the need for judgment.
03
Does Aptoria hold my rent?
Aptoria uses provider-backed payment workflows and does not represent itself as a rent custodian on its public materials. Merchant-of-record status, movement of funds, settlement timing, and any custody arrangement depend on the connected provider and account configuration. Review the live payment setup and provider terms before enabling payments.
04
What can Aptoria’s AI not do on its own?
Aptoria does not autonomously file an eviction, deny an applicant, terminate a lease, take a deposit deduction, send a rent-increase notice, or use cross-landlord pricing signals. Those categories sit on a human-required floor that a customer cannot turn off in settings.
05
How does landlord approval work?
For supported workflows, the landlord sets thresholds and policy boundaries. Work inside those limits can be handled according to the configured mode; work outside them is routed for review with its available source facts and proposed action. The action record keeps the policy and approval state alongside the outcome.
06
Can I cancel or reverse an action?
Eligible consequential actions use a documented 15-minute soft-commit window so they can be stopped before they finalize. Aptoria also documents an emergency stop and reversible work where a workflow permits it. A completed external payment, sent message, or provider action may not be reversible, so the exact action state matters.
07
Who is Aptoria for?
Aptoria is designed first for self-managing landlords and small property-management teams that want help with recurring rental operations without delegating legally serious decisions to an AI. The product’s availability and appropriate workflow vary by setup, jurisdiction, and provider.
